SOP
Most Valuable Asset
Hey, I hope you're running a B2B business (this newsletter is specifically for B2B businesses).
As you grow and learn, it's easy to forget to take notes.
This often leads to spending an extra 1-3 hours because you thought, 'Oh, I'll remember it.'
But the truth is, you won’t. If people could remember all their tasks, CRMs, project management tools, and Kanban boards wouldn’t be such profitable businesses.
Take a look at this picture –
I'm in the process of recreating my SOPs and workflows. Even though I don’t have a big team, I still follow structured processes so I always know 'what the hell I’m doing right now.'
I’ve divided it into six modules, with four still pending.
Even if it’s a low-priority task, map it out and save it for later.
Here are some SOPs you can create for yourself:
1. Domain and email setup
2. Types of offers you’ve made previously and why you made them
3. Lead scraping and segmentation
4. Reply management
5. Appointment settings
6. Clay flows and related processes
The list can go on!
When I share this with my B2B clients, their response is usually, 'Hmm, this guy knows his stuff,' and they don’t experience buyer’s remorse.
(Buyer’s remorse: the regret or insecurity that comes after purchasing a product/service.)
